Wildflower classes

Parent meeting
Grovetown Middle School will hold a meeting to welcome parents and students newly rezoned to Evans and Columbia middle schools for 2008-09 at 7 p.m. Thursday in the commons area, with teachers available to answer questions.
Miracle Tour
Mark Lowry, a Christian recording artist, songwriter and comedian, and his Be the Miracle Tour will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at West Acres Baptist Church on Gibbs Road, in Evans. Call (706) 860-6573.

Youth leadership
Noon Friday is the deadline for applications for the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce 2009 Youth Leadership Program. Spaces are available to rising sophomores or juniors who are residents of Columbia County, attend a public or private school or are home-schooled.
