With Ryan Clark as model, county should consider 'Walk of Heroes'

The March 2 News-Times story about the decision of Kiwanis International to honor Ryan Clark was very touching.

It is impressive that the spirit of this fine young man will continue to have a positive influence on people in the future.

I would like for our county to consider a "Walk of Heroes" in one of the parks presently being planned and/or constructed.

Perhaps this concept could be incorporated in the area across from the courthouse in Evans.

We, as a community, could honor outstanding citizens who truly epitomize the "spirit of America."
