The Greenbrier High School Pack Players will present six performances of Thoroughly Modern Millie beginning Thursday.

Set in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a Tony Award-winning musical that tells the story of Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city to make a new life for herself.
"It's a fun show, and it's just got a lot of small to medium-size to large parts in it. I'm always looking for shows to accommodate a large cast," said Stephen Hansen, the school's drama director.
He said the Pack Players have more than 50 members. With the addition of the band and technical crew, he said, the number of participants climbs to about 80.
He said the show is a collaborative effort among the drama, chorus and band departments.
Although he urges students to attend the show, Hansen said he also hopes community members will support the play.
"I want parents and our community to see what high-school students are capable of at their best," he said.
