An anger-management workshop for grades six-12 will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 Washington Road. The session will be led by counselor Kathy Tharin, who will be available afterward for questions with parents. Cost is $10, including lunch. Thursday is the deadline for registration. Alzheimer's event

Monday is the registration deadline for the Augusta Alzheimer's Association's ninth annual education symposium for family and professional caregivers, "Alzheimer's and Dementias: Care Strategies," will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Gordon Club at Fort Gordon.
