Lakeside High swimmers compete

Lakeside High School boys and girls swim teams finished in the top 10 Saturday at the state swimming and diving finals at The Westminster Schools of Atlanta.

The host school won the boys team competition and its girls finished second to Marist.
The Panthers boys finished sixth and the girls ninth.
Lakeside's finish was highlighted by junior Eric Chiu's win in the 100-yard breaststroke with a school-record time of 58:50.
Greenbrier and Evans also competed in the event. Evans' girls finished 15th. The Evans boys finished 33rd.
Freshman Ben Miller was the only Knights boys finalist, finishing sixth in the 100-yard backstroke.
The Greenbrier girls finished 36th and the boys 47th.
