AJCC benefit

Israeli jazz ensemble Seeds of Sun will perform a musical tribute to Israel in honor of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Jewish state at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Augusta Jewish Community Center, 898 Weinberger Way, off Furys Ferry Road. Black history event

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, at 703 Furys Ferry Road, in Evans, will hold a black history program at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
