Friends of Columbia County Libraries are seeking donations of used books. The books are sold in the library book store, with funds used to buy new books and fund library programs. Donations are accepted at the Evans and Euchee Creek libraries. For information, call Elige Hickman at (706) 863-2880.

Donations sought

Church luncheon

Driving course

Georgia Teens Ride with PRIDE, a free two-hour course designed to help parents and new drivers ages 14-16, will be held Saturday at the Columbia County Justice Center in Evans from 8-10:30 a.m. To register, call Kari Poss at (706) 868-3320.

Scout banquet

4-H Horse Club to hold yard sale

The 4-H Horse Club will hold its third annual yard sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Marvin United Methodist Church on South Belair Road at Wheeler Road. The money raised will be donated to equine relief and rescue.
