Super Tuesday arrives this week for 23 states, including Georgia, for the Presidential Preference Primary and caucuses.
//
Debbie Marshall, Columbia County's board of elections director, recently said she expects a 30 percent voter turnout for Tuesday's primary.
During the early voting period, held last week, Marshall expected 1,500 to 1,900 voters to cast ballots for presidential candidates.
The Republican ticket includes former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Arizona Sen. John McCain, Texas Rep. Ron Paul and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
Sens. Barack Obama, of Illinois, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, of New York, lead the Democrats' ticket.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani, a Republican, and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, a Democrat, abandoned their presidential bids Wednesday but will still appear on the Georgia ballot.
