I was one of the many in attendance at Tuesday's Columbia County Board of Education meeting. I attended the meeting to show my support for the naming of our newest high school Grovetown High.

Air Force Airman First Class Charles L. Barden has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Jenny Barden of Evans, and a 2002 graduate of Lakeside High School.
