The Jabez S. Hardin Performing Arts Center of the Columbia County Library will transform into a movie theater each Friday night during January.
//
Community events specialist Brooke Willis said "family-friendly" and "popular" movies were chosen for the series.
This event will be similar to previous movie showings at the amphitheater, Willis said.
Also, Willis said, showing movies at the Performing Arts Center will give the public an opportunity to enjoy the state-of-the-art facility.
Although admission to the movies is free, donations will be accepted.
Tickets will be distributed after 6 p.m. each Friday, and the movie begins at 7 p.m.
Only bottled water is allowed in the theater.
