'Chipper' day

Columbia County's "Bring One for the Chipper" Christmas tree recycling event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 12 at The Home Depot on Bobby Jones Expressway. Free tree seedlings will be given while supplies last. For information, call (706) 312-7191.

Catholic series

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church is offering a six-week program, Catholics Returning Home, to help nonpracticing Catholics return to the church.
