A new Marine Corps Motorcycle Association is forming in the Augusta area and is seeking members. The organization will support Marine Corps efforts in the Aiken-Augusta area, including Toys for Tots, the Wounded Warrior program and the Fisher House. Sign classes

An eight-week sign language course geared toward those with health-care training will be held on Thursdays starting Jan. 3 for beginners and March 13 for intermediate at University Health Care System. Call (706) 774-8559.

Tree recycling
