Baseball camp

Pride Athletics and coach Adrian McCladdie will offer the Holiday Baseball Camp at Riverside Park on Dec. 27-29. A minor league camp for ages 8-10 will run from 9 a.m. to noon., and a major league camp for ages 11-14 will run from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Cost of the camp is $75 which includes a camp T-shirt, snacks, drinks, awards and instruction for better hitting, fielding and throwing. Softball tryouts

The Georgia Rockers 10U travel team is looking for girls interested in playing fast-pitch softball for the 2008 season. Players age 9 or 10 by Jan. 1 may contact Ike Branch at (706) 373-9581 or (706) 860-3886.
