Greenbrier sweeps tri-match

Greenbrier and Evans squared off on the wrestling mat last week in a tri-match with Burke County.

The Wolfpack beat out Burke County 51-28 and Evans 63-18 at the match, which was held at Greenbrier High School. The pair of wins improved Greenbrier's record to 5-1 on the season.

Three days before the tri-match, the Wolfpack hit the road for a larger tournament in Swainsboro, Ga.

Greenbrier took second place out of 16 teams as Tim Stahman took first place in the 215-pound weight class. Brandon Critell (130) and Jake Kitchens (145) took second and third place, respectively.
