Baseball camp

Pride Athletics and coach Adrian McCladdie will offer a Holiday Baseball Camp at Riverside Park on Dec. 27-29. A minor league camp for ages 8-10 will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and a major league camp for ages 11-14 will run from 12:30-4:30 p.m. The camp costs $75 which includes a camp T-shirt, snacks, drinks, awards and instruction for better hitting, fielding and throwing. Softball tryouts

The Georgia Rockers 10U travel team is looking for girls interested in playing fastpitch softball for the 2008 season. Players age 9 or 10 on Jan. 1 and interested in playing may contact Ike Branch at (706) 373-9581 or (706) 860-3886.

Tennis tourney

A Junior Tennis League tournament will be held Dec. 8 at Newman Tennis Center in Augusta. The tournament is free for all registered 2007 JTL players, or $20 for non-JTL players.
