Evans parade

The annual Merchants Association of Columbia County Martinez-Evans Christmas Parade will begin at 2 p.m. today on Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans.

Chanukah bazaar

A book fair and Chanukah bazaar will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Augusta Jewish Community Center, at 898 Weinberger Way, off Furys Ferry Road in Evans.

Trees available

The men of Martinez United Methodist Church, 3614 Washington Road, are selling Christmas trees to benefit missions and area charities. Trees are available next to the church from 5-9 p.m. Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturdays, and from noon until 9 p.m. Sundays while they last. Call (706) 863-6541.

C-Case 'day out'

Columbia County Advocates for Special Education will offer a "parents day out" from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at Evans High School for $4 per hour, per child, and discounts for additional children.

Accessories party

The Evans High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America will hold a drop-in accessories party 3:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the school's commons area.

Fashion purses, totes, duffles and accessories will be available for purchase, with monogramming offered for a small fee.

Aquinas drama

The Aquinas High School Drama Department will present three one-act plays at 2 p.m. today at the Hull Fine Arts Center at Augusta Preparatory Day School. Tickets cost $7 for adults, $3 for Aquinas students and $5 for other students. For information, call (706) 736-5516.
