Army Pvt. Ashley N. Witherspoon has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.

She is the daughter of Joyce Fisher, of Grovetown, and a 2007 graduate of Harlem High School.

Army Pvt. DeJonnerio V. Jordan has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.

Jordan is the son of Deborah Jordan, of Harlem, and a 2007 graduate of Augusta Technical College.

Army Pvt. Michael A. Valdez has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Valdez is the son of Gail Valdez, of Killeen, Texas, and brother of Joseph Valdez, of Martinez.

Army Reserve Pvt. Robert J. Smith Jr. has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Knox, Ky.

He is the son of Robert and Theresa Smith, of Grovetown.

Smith is attending Harlem High School.
