Award nominations accepted

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Lifetime Achievement Award, given to Bill Jackson in 2005 and Jeff Hardin in 2006, "is given to an individual who is generally recognized as having made a significant contribution to the prosperity and the quality of life of Columbia County," according to the chamber's nomination form.

The 2007 award will be presented at the chamber's annual meeting, set for Jan. 28, as will other business awards.
