Greenbrier teams garner trophies

The 2007 Region 3-AAAA cross country meet took place last Thursday on Jekyll Island, Ga. Ten different schools competed in girls and boys 5K races.

In the boys race, Greenbrier's Taylor Snyder took home the individual first place. Lakeside's Anna Bowles grabbed the top prize in the girls race.

Greenbrier High School came home with first-place team finishes in both the boys and girls races. The Wolfpack runners, along with Evans and Lakeside, will move on to the Class AAAA state meet which will take place on Saturday in Carrollton.
