Army Pvt. David L. Hudgins has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Hudgins is the son of David and Mary Hudgins, of Evans. The private is a 2005 graduate of Greenbrier High School.

Army National Guard Pvt. Alexandria E. Wooten has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Wooten is the daughter of Pamela Wooten, of Martinez, and granddaughter of Crystal Wooten, of Augusta.

Army Reserve Pfc. Tiffany D. Wright has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Leonard Wright, of Evans, and Lynda Byers, of Martinez.

Army Reserve Pfc. Carter H. Baker has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Baker is a 2007 graduate of Lakeside High School and the son of Camilla Baker, of Martinez.
