Democratic dinner

Thursday is the reservation deadline for the Columbia County Democratic Party spaghetti dinner, with guest speaker Georgia Democratic Party Chairman Jane Kidd. Turkey shoot

The Grovetown Lions Club holds a turkey shoot fundraiser every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. through Dec. 8, on Old Louisville Road in Grovetown. Cost is $3 per shot for a chance to win a turkey and other items. A concession stand is available.
