Vendors wanted

Booth spaces are available for the community yard sale sponsored by Mount Up Ministries of Appling, to be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Mount Carmel Baptist Church, on Cobbham Road, in Winfield. Proceeds benefit community outreach programs. For information, call (706) 564-2181.

Pumpkin patch

Marvin United Methodist Church is holding its annual Pumpkin Patch through Oct. 31, from noon-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The church is on the corner of Wheeler Road at Belair Road. For information, call (706) 863-0510.

Harlem theater

Harlem High School drama will present a program at 7 p.m. Saturday in the school theater, with "divas" of the musical theater class presenting Broadway melodies and a drama presentation of The Rainmaker following a dessert intermission. Boat safety

Halloween party

Tax helpers

The Augusta-area AARP Tax-Aide program is seeking volunteers with computer experience to help low- to medium-income citizens with income taxes. A free 10-day training course will begin Dec. 10. Art sought

Entries are being sought for the Artists' Guild of Columbia County's second annual Art After Dark exhibition, to be held Nov. 30-Dec. 29 at the Columbia County Library, with an opening reception from 7-10 p.m. Nov. 30. Cleanup planned
