Church yard sale

Holy Comforter Episcopal Church will hold a yard sale to benefit Sunday school and youth groups from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Jae Mar S Academy of Dog Obedience, 107 Davant Road, Martinez, off Washington Road.

Rabies clinic

The Columbia County Humane Society will hold a rabies clinic with $5 rabies shots from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Blanchard Park, off Belair Road.

Health fair

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, 703 Furys Ferry Road, in Evans, will hold a health fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Keep Columbia County Beautiful will hold another electronics recycling day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Columbia County Government Complex. For information, call (706) 312-7191.

Miss Augusta

The 33rd annual Miss Augusta Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. Saturdayat Augusta State University. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $5 for children 10-under. Collections for "It's Spooky to be Hungry" will be accepted. For information, go to www.missaugusta.org.
