Businesses are being sought to give away candy at Columbia County's Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat Halloween celebration, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Patriots Park Gym. Tuesday is the deadline for youth entries in the Columbia County Fall Fair, with the Columbia County Extension Service offering more than $2,000 in prize money. Items must be entered Tuesday from 1:30-6:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
