WWII vets sought

Fair entries

Aquinas Mass

Livestock program

Sign up is in progress at the Farm Service Agency in Thomson for the Livestock Compensation Program for farmers in Columbia, McDuffie, Warren and Richmond counties. The program compensates producers for feed losses occurring between Jan. 1, 2005, and Feb. 28, 2007, caused by natural disasters such as drought. For information, call (706) 595-1339, ext. 2.
