Adult soccer

The Columbia County Recreation Department will soon begin forming six-on-six adult soccer leagues. The games will be played on Sundays at either Patriots Park or Blanchard Woods Park. Contact Ricky Saunders at (706) 306-2759.

Club volleyball

The 2007-08 organizational meeting for the CSRA HEAT Volleyball Club will be held Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Boardman Gym at Augusta Prep. Girls in grades 6-12 and their parents are urged to attend. There is a $50 registration and tryout fee, and tryouts will follow the first two Sundays in November. Travel baseball

Baseball tournaments

Registration for fall baseball tournaments is open to any travel teams. Tournaments include the Savannah River Slugfest on Oct. 13-14 in North Augusta, the Georgia-Line Boo Ball NIT on Oct. 26-28 in Aiken and the Aiken Fall Finale on Nov. 10-11 in Aiken.
