The Augusta Junior Rowing Team is seeking youth ages 13-18 to join the team. A two-week trial period is available, and no experience is necessary. Practices are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m. at The Boathouse in Augusta. For information, visit www.augustarowingclub.org.

Basketball clinic

The Dip Metress Basketball Academy will hold a clinic Friday and Saturday. The academy's director is Augusta State men's basketball coach Dip Metress, and the coed clinic is open to grades 1-9. The camp will run from 6-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $50 which includes lunch Saturday and a camp shirt. Please bring a basketball to the clinic.
