CCASE PTO picnic

The Columbia County Advocates for Special Education (CCASE) PTO will hold its annual picnic from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine, at Evans Elementary School. Teen Years 101

Columbia County Chief Magistrate Judge Wade Padgett will hold his Teenage Years 101 seminar at 7 p.m. Wednesday for adults, and at 7 p.m. Sept. 12 for teens, at West Acres Baptist Church, 555 Gibbs Road, Evans. For information, e-mail DeAnna Bradford at dbradford@columbiacountyga.gov.

UGA tickets

The Columbia County Extension Service has a limited number of tickets available for the Georgia vs. Western Carolina football game Sept. 15. Tickets cost $42 each.
