Brown to visit Grovetown

U.S. Rep. Paul Broun, R-Athens, will be coming to Grovetown on Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. public reception at City Hall.

The congressman, who was recently elected to fill the vacated seat of the late Charlie Norwood, will meet with the public at the reception in an informal visit to the city. Broun defeated Jim Whitehead, R-Evans, in a runoff. He has said that he plans to represent the entire 10th Congressional district, including Columbia County.
