The Columbia County Extension Service office's monthly Gardening at Lunch series is held at 12:10 p.m. at the Columbia County Library with presentations by Extension Agent Charles Phillips. India Day

The Indo-American Cultural Association of Augusta will hold its annual India Day celebration Saturday at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center, in Evans. Admission costs $1, with proceeds going to local charitable organizations including the Shelter for Abused Women.

Supply drive

Georgia Safe is holding a drive to collect school supplies for children in foster care. Supplies may be dropped off at their office at 4424 Columbia Road, Suite B, in Martinez.

Models needed

Curvaceous Cuties is seeking plus-size models (size 14-larger) for a scholarship fundraiser fashion show to be held Oct. 20. Open call will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Georgia Safe, 4424 Columbia Road, Ste. B, Martinez. For information, call (706) 399-8788.

'Patsy Cline' show

Stage III, Columbia County's community theater group, will present the musical Always... Church services

Mt. Enon Baptist Church in Evans and Height Church in Aiken will hold Hands Across the River services at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and at 11 a.m. Sunday.
