Garden series

The Columbia County Extension Service's monthly Gardening at Lunch series begins at 12:10 p.m. at the Columbia County Library, with presentations by Extension Agent Charles Phillips. GOP training

India Day

The Indo-American Cultural Association of Augusta will hold its annual India Day celebration Saturday at Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center in Evans. Admission costs $1, with proceeds going to local charities such as the Shelter for Abused Women.

Supply drive

Georgia Safe is holding a drive to collect school supplies for children in foster care. Drop off supplies at the office at 4424 Columbia Road, Suite B, in Martinez.

Models needed
