Harlem Middle School assembly open to all

The community is invited to a Harlem Middle School assembly, A Celebration of School, at 9 a.m. Friday.

Principal Carla Shelton said guest speakers will include Willie Reese, the director of operations for the basketball team at Georgia Institute of Technology, and Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Clark, of Fort Gordon's 15th Regimental Signal Brigade.

The assembly is designed to motivate pupils to set goals and achieve at a high level, Shelton said.
