The Columbia County Back to School Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Evans High School, with information on school calendars and bus schedules, health screenings, and after-school and recreation registrations.
Stream workshop

Stage III, Columbia County's community theater group, will present the musical Always... Clothing sale
The Children's Resource Center, at 6347 Columbia Road, in Appling, operated by the Columbia County Foundation for Children, is holding a $3 bag sale on summer clothing. The public is invited to nominate candidates for Columbia County Arts Inc.'s third annual Individual Artist award, given to a living Columbia County artist who has dedicated himself or herself to excellence, growth, support and availability of the arts in Columbia County.
