Movie series

The MCG Children's Medical Center final showing of the Movies Under the Stars series will be held at Columbia County's amphitheater with Night at the Museum on Friday. The movie begins at dusk. Book signing

Joshilyn Jackson, a writer author who was a finalist in Columbia County's 2007 One Book, One Community program, will visit and sign books at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Columbia County Library in Evans.

Oral health

Kathy Tuckey, the regional director of the Alzheimer's Association, will hold a free caregiver seminar, Oral Health and Care, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. July 31 at the Jud C. Hickey Adult Day Center, 1901 Central Ave., Augusta.
