With experience, knowledge, Whitehead is 'right person' for Congress

I support Jim Whitehead for Congress. I have been around politics since I volunteered in 1968. Never have I met a candidate or elected official who is more accessible, straightforward and in tune with his constituents.

When it comes to energy and stamina, there is an often-reported study about the college athlete who tries to keep up with a toddler. The toddler wins as the athlete quits in frustration.

I have been around Whitehead as he has worked as a state senator and county commissioner, and now I know how the athlete felt! (Not that Jim Whitehead is a toddler by anyone's account.)

In all seriousness, when it comes to the grave issues facing the United States, we need someone with experience and knowledge of the political and governmental processes to make the right decisions for our country. My own research and personal experience tells me that Jim Whitehead is the right person to represent us in Congress.
