- Harlem United Methodist Church will hold vacation Bible school from 6-8:30 p.m. July 8-13 for ages 3 through rising fifth grade.

- New Heights Community Church, on Columbia Road, will have vacation Bible school from 6:30-9 p.m. July 8-13 for ages 1 through teens, with dinner provided.

Sign workshop

A Baby Signs introductory parent workshop will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 19 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans. The Sign, Say and Play class will be from 10:15-11 a.m. on Tuesdays from July 10 to Aug. 28.

Church anniversary

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, at 703 Furys Ferry Road, in Evans, will celebrate its 127th anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. A.W. Dock, of Berean Baptist Church in Philadelphia, as guest speaker.
