Furman University graduate

Ashley E. Sisco, of Evans, graduated June 2 from Furman University. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sisco, of Evans.

Medical College of Georgia graduate

Brian Murrell, husband of Melissa Murrell and son of John and Sandra Murrell, graduated from the Medical College of Georgia Physician Assistant Program on May 11. Brian is a 1996 graduate of Lakeside High School and a 2000 graduate of Georgia Southern University. He received his master's degree in biology from Georgia Southern University in 2002.

Harding University Dean's List

Kevin Lillis, of Evans, has been named to the Harding University Dean's List for the spring semester. Lillis is a junior majoring in nursing.

Wofford College graduates

Rebecca Anne Koger, of Evans, graduated in May with a bachelor of arts degree in English and theatre. She is the daughter of Marion and Susan Koger, of Evans.

Eric Leon Marshall, of Grovetown, graduated in May with a bachelor of arts degree in finance. He is the son of Patrick and MiMi Marshall, of Grovetown.

Limestone College graduates

The following students graduated during spring commencement at Limestone College, in Gaffney, S.C.:

Raymond H. Smith, of Appling, was awarded a bachelor's degree in business administration/management.

Kendra Wilson Englade, of Evans, was awarded a bachelor's degree in business administration/management.

Valdosta State University graduate

Richard Thomas Gaddy, of Martinez, graduated in spring from Valdosta State University with a bachelor's degree in fine arts.

McCallie School academic honors

John Harris, of Evans, a junior boarding student at McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn., received honors for his classroom performance during the second semester of the 2006-07 school year.

Harris was named to the Headmaster's List for earning all As in regular courses and no grade lower than a B-plus in honors or advanced placement courses. He was also named to the Faculty Recognition List for special acknowledgement of his academic efforts. He is the son of Mark and Beth Harris.

Rhodes College Dean's List

Amanda M. Lutin, of Martinez, was named to the Rhodes College Dean's List for the spring semester.
