Golf camps

The 2007 YMCA Golf Camps for ages 6-17 will be at Bartram Trail Golf Course on July 9-12 and July 23-26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camps will include comprehensive instruction from PGA professionals and certified golf instructors and will include unlimited range balls and nine holes of golf with prizes and awards. Golf program
The Columbia County Recreation and Leisure Services and Bartram Trail Golf Course will present a four-week youth golf program. The program will meet once a week from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and costs $75 per participant. The program will run on July 9, 10, 16 and 23 for ages 8-10 and on July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1 for ages 11-13. There will be a limit of 10 children per age division and additional sessions will be available Aug. 27. Head golf pro Robby Watson and assistant pro Patrick Gantt will serve as instructors. Golf clinics
Bartram Trail Golf Club will hold a series of Junior Golf Clinics during the summer months. Class sizes are limited to the first 20 paying children ages 6-18. The clinics will run July 2-5 and Aug. 6-8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for each clinic is $150, which includes range balls, instruction, lunch, entry fee and prizes for a nine-hole tournament. Tennis/Swim camps
Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez is offering summer tennis/swim camps each week through the end of July. Camps run Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for beginner through intermediate level tennis players. All camps are run using the Progressive Court System, and recreational swimming will follow the tennis instruction and games.
