Basketball camp

The Dip Metress Basketball Academy will be held June 18-22 at Augusta State University. Academy Director Dip Metress, ASU men's basketball coach, will lead the co-ed camp open to boys and girls in grades 1-8. The camp, which costs $150 including lunch and a camp T-shirt and basketball, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, call Metress at (706) 667-4765 or e-mail dmetress@aug.edu.
Baseball camp
The Evans High School Youth Baseball Camps will take place June 18-22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children ages 5-14. Cost is $85. For more information e-mail Coach Ricky Beale at rbeale@ccboe.net.
Golf clinics
Bartram Tail Golf Club will hold a series of Junior Golf Clinics during the summer months. Class sizes are limited to the first 20 paid children ages 6-18. The clinics will run July 2-5 and Aug. 6-8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for each clinic is $150 which includes range balls, instruction, lunch, entry fee and prizes for a nine-hole tournament. Cheerleading camp
The Greenbrier High School Cheerleading Kiddie Camp will take place Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Greenbrier High School gym. Soccer camp
The Columbia County Patriots will hold a Junior Summer Academy beginning June 18 for boys and girls ages 5-8. Sessions will be Monday and Friday evenings and some Saturday mornings. Volleyball clinics
The CSRA Heat Volleyball Club will host volleyball clinics Sunday afternoons in the Boardman Gym at Augusta Prep for girls fifth grade through high school.
