Youth day

Fort Gordon will celebrate the 232nd birthday of the Army with a cake-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. June 14 in Conrad Hall.

Cruise-in

The John Redmond In It to Win It Cruise-in Scavenger Hunt will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 16 in the parking lot of French Market Grille West on Furys Ferry Road in Martinez, with contests for vintage cars, imports and street tuners and motorcycles. School council

The Evans High School council will meet at 10:45 a.m. June 18 to elect members. Nomination forms are available at the school daily from 7-11 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. Parent members must have a student enrolled in the school.
