Noted author and Catholic family values radio and television host Johnnette Benkovic will present a seminar Friday and Saturday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grovetown.

Benkovic, the author of The Women of Grace Study Series and the host of the radio program Women of Grace Live and The Abundant Life on EWTN, will present a three-part program at the church on the Catholic meaning of femininity.
Sharon Parr, a co-chairwoman of the event, said slots are still available for the series, which begins at 7 p.m. Friday and concludes with sessions at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Women of Grace conferences are part of Living His Life Abundantly International, a ministry founded by Benkovic, according to her official Web site. The event is sponsored by the Augusta Deanery Women.
"A group of women from Augusta went to Savannah to hear her speak a couple months ago, and she just gave such a wonderful, uplifting and powerful message for women, we just had to bring her to Augusta," Parr said.
Benkovic's lectures focus on the power of women and about the special mission God has for them, according to the Web site. The lectures are titled: God's Special Call to Women, Experience Grace in Abundance and Spiritual Warfare in the New Age.
Registration for the event costs $40, and refreshments will be provided. Those interested in attending can register by calling Parr at (706) 860-2977 or by sending an e-mail to gracefilledweekend@gmail.com.
