Baseball tryouts

Tryouts for the 2008 Greenbrier varsity baseball team will be Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for rising juniors and seniors. The tryouts will be held at Greenbrier High School's baseball field.
Volleyball clinics
The CSRA Heat Volleyball Club will hold volleyball clinics Sunday afternoons in the Boardman Gym at Augusta Preparatory Day School for girls fifth grade through high school. Basketball camp

Soccer tryouts
The Columbia County Patriots will be holding select soccer tryouts for boys and girls U9-U19. The U9-U12 tryouts will take place Monday and the U13-19 tryouts will take place June 11, 12, 14, 16 and 18. Basketball camp

Golf camps
Applications are being accepted for the David Usry Junior Golf Camps at Forest Hills Golf Club on Wednesday through Friday, and June 13-15, 26-28, July 3-5 and July 31-Aug. 2. All sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Camp costs include instruction, computer swing analysis, golf hat and lunch each day. The middle school session (grades 5-8) will run from 9 a.m. to noon and the high school session (grades 9-12) will run from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt. Golf camps
The 2007 YMCA Golf Camps for ages 6-17 will be held at Bartram Trail Golf Course on Monday through Thursday, June 18-21, July 9-12 and July 23-26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camps will include comprehensive instruction from PGA professionals and certified golf instructors and will include unlimited range balls and nine holes of golf with prizes and awards.
