Dog Walk
The new Evans Lions Club will hold its inaugural Dog Walk from 9 a.m. to noon June 16 at the Columbia County Memorial Gardens. Entry fee costs $10 per dog, and proceeds support Project Courage and Leader Dogs of America. For information, call Bob and Jeanie Brandon at (706) 863-0115.
Family festival

The South Columbia Elementary School Council meeting scheduled for June 19 has been cancelled, and will be rescheduled in July.
