The Democratic Party of Columbia County will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in Evans. Join them in the Auditorium of the government complex (Building A) on Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans.

Dog Walk

The new Evans Lions Club will hold its inaugural Dog Walk from 9 a.m. to noon June 16 at the Columbia County Memorial Gardens. Entry fee costs $10 per dog, and proceeds support Project Courage and Leader Dogs of America. For information, call Bob and Jeanie Brandon at (706) 863-0115.

Family festival

The South Columbia Elementary School Council meeting scheduled for June 19 has been cancelled, and will be rescheduled in July.
