Basketball camp

Augusta Christian Schools will hold a boys basketball camp Monday through Wednesday for fourth- to eighth-grade boys. The sixth- to eighth-grade camp will be 9 a.m. to noon, and the fourth- to fifth-grade camp will be 1-4 p.m. The camp costs $85 and includes a T-shirt and certificate. Basketball camp

The Dip Metress Basketball Academy will be June 18-22 at Augusta State University. Dip Metress, ASU men's basketball coach, will lead the camp open to boys and girls in grades 1-8. Softball camp

Registration is open for the annual Greenbrier Fastpitch Softball Clinic held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at Greenbrier High School. Baseball camp

Baseball camp

Tennis/swim camps

Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez is offering summer tennis/swim camps through the end of July. Camps run Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to noon for beginner- through intermediate-level tennis players. All camps are run using the Progressive Court System. Recreational swimming will follow the tennis instruction and games. Discounts are available for siblings and campers who attend more than two sessions.

Baseball tourney

Golf clinics

Bartram Trail Golf Club will hold a series of Junior Golf Clinics this summer. Classes are limited to the first 20 paid children ages 6-18. The clinics will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 2-5 and Aug. 6-8. Each clinic costs $150, which includes range balls, instruction, lunch, entry fee and prizes for a nine-hole tournament. Cheerleading camp

The Greenbrier High School Cheerleading Kiddie Camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 11-13 at the Greenbrier High School gym. Girls from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade are welcome. Registration costs $60 before June 1 and $70 after.

Golf tournament

The 21st annual Alltel Boy Scout Golf Classic will be June 4 at Mount Vintage Plantation and Golf Club. The Lauderdale format tournament will hold registration at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The cost is $500 for a four-man team or $125 for individuals. This includes door prizes and a steak dinner. Sponsorships also are available. For information, call Ivone Bond at (706) 733-5277.
