Basketball camp

Soccer tryouts
The Columbia County Patriots will be holding select soccer tryouts for boys and girls U9-U19. The U9-U12 tryouts will take place May 29-31 and June 2 and 4; the U13-19 tryouts will take place June 11, 12, 14, 16 and 18. All weekday tryouts will begin at 6:30 p.m., with registration at 6 p.m. All Saturday tryouts will begin at 10 a.m. with registration at 9:30 a.m. For more information, go to www.patriotssoccer.org or call (706) 312-7488.
Basketball camp
The Antonio Grant Summer Basketball Camp will take place June 18-21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is for children ages 6-15. Register at the North Augusta Recreation Department by June 11. For questions call Pat Carpenter at (803) 279-3613 or (803) 441-4311.
Golf camps
Applications are being accepted for the David Usry Junior Golf Camps at Forest Hills Golf Club on June 6-8, 13-15, 26-28, July 3-5 and July 31-Aug. 2. All sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Camp costs include instruction, computer swing analysis, golf hat and lunch each day. Volleyball camp
Augusta Prep's fifth annual summer volleyball camps will take place June 25-29. The middle school session (grades 5-8) will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the high school session (grades 9-12) will run from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt. Volleyball camp
Registration is open for the Seventh Annual Greenbrier High School Volleyball Camp. The camp will run June 4-7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $70 and applications can be found on the school Web site at greenbrierathletics.net. The first 45 paid applicants will be accepted. Basketball camp
The 17th Annual Sure-Shot Basketball Camp will take place June 4-8 and June 11-15 at Lakeside Middle School. Golf camps
The 2007 YMCA Golf Camps for ages 6-17 will be held at Bartram Trail Golf Course on June 4-7, June 18-21, July 9-12 and July 23-26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camps will include comprehensive instruction from PGA professionals and certified golf instructors and will include unlimited range balls and nine holes of golf with prizes and awards.
