Heritage fest

Grovetown's Heritage Festival, which will include dedication of the city's Memorial Wall with speeches by Fort Gordon's commanding general and Columbia County historian Charles Lord, will be held Monday, on Memorial Day, in downtown Grovetown. Women's conference

Johnnette Benkovic will be the featured speaker at the Women of Grace conference June 8-9 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 4921 Columbia Road. Voting begins

Absentee voting for the June 19 special election will begin Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Board of Elections office, Building E in the Government Complex adjacent to the Health Department. For information, call (706) 868-3355.
