Weed Walk

An urban wildflower Weed Walk, beginning with a photo presentation and study of plants, will start at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reed Creek Park Interpretive Center. Space is limited. To register, call John Graham at (706) 868-0296.

Candidate forum

A forum for candidates in the 10th District U.S. House of Representatives race will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Jaguar Student Activities Center ballroom, at Augusta State University. Admission is free. Call (706) 737-1710.

Vendors sought

Vendors and volunteers are still being sought for the May 28 Grovetown Heritage Festival, which this year will include dedication of the city's Memorial Wall with speeches by Fort Gordon's commanding general and by Columbia County historian Charles Lord. Groundbreaking
