Golf tournament

The 21st annual Alltel Boy Scout Golf Classic will take place June 4 at Mount Vintage Plantation and Golf Club. The Lauderdale format tournament will hold registration at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $500 for a four-man team or $125 for individuals, which includes door prizes and a steak dinner. Golf tournament

The inaugural Knights Football Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 20 at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The captain's choice tournament costs $200 per team or $50 per player. Golf camps

Applications are being accepted for the David Usry Junior Golf Camps at Forest Hills Golf Club on June 6-8, 13-15, 26-28, July 3-5 and July 31-Aug. 2. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon with programs encompassing putting, chipping, full swing, etiquette, rules, sportsmanship, course management and swing development/analysis. Special needs T-ball

T-ball for kids with special needs ages 4-18 will meet in Martinez starting in late May. This volunteer-based program is open to children in the Augusta area, and neurotypical friends and siblings are welcome to join. Dedicated coaching volunteers and assistants are also needed. Basketball camp

Soccer tryouts

The Columbia County Patriots will hold select soccer tryouts for boys and girls U9-U19. The U9-U12 tryouts will be May 29-31 and June 2 and 4, and the U13-19 tryouts will be June 11, 12, 14, 16 and 18.
