Ride to Remember

The Augusta leg of inaugural statewide Ride to Remember motorcycle ride and poker run to benefit the Alzheimer's Association will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Augusta Harley-Davidson on Belair Frontage Road and end at Wild Wing Cafe, on Washington Road in Augusta. Cost is $25 per motorcycle and includes one poker hand, with T-shirts to the first 100 riders. Register at www.alzga.org, or call (706) 731-9060.

Writers meet

CSRA Writers will meet at 6:30 p.m. May 21 at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 1336 Augusta West Parkway. Writers needing a support group are invited to attend and bring eight copies of a manuscript to be critiqued. For information, call Steve Fox at (706) 836-7315.
