Georgia Tech faculty honors

Miami University Dean's List

Sarah Ann Parks, of Martinez, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Miami University.

Auburn University's Dean's List

Scott C. Morris, of Evans, a freshman enrolled in Auburn's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering; Lisa Nicole Cox of Evans, a senior enrolled in Auburn's College of Sciences and Mathematics; and Marvin Eugene Brown III of Martinez, a sophomore enrolled in AU's College of Business, have all recently been named to the Dean's List at Auburn University.

Kennametal raises funds for United Way

Kennametal recently raised more than $529,000 in support of the United Way and its agencies during its 2006 United Way campaign.

During the 2006 Campaign, Kennametal also honored its locations with the highest participation rate and the highest average pledge per employee rate with the Chairman's Award. Each award was divided into two classes - Class A (fewer than 100 employees) and Class AA (more than 100 employees). This year's winners included the Evans location, which had a 98 percent participation rate at 317 out of 323 employees.

Furman University winter Dean's List
